mschiller890 — 17 y/o · building things that probably shouldn't exist

Started with batch scripts at age 9 and haven't stopped since. I take software apart just to see what makes it tick.

I'm a 17-year-old code tinkerer who likes turning weird ideas into actual things. First program? A batch script at 9. It worked… somehow. I think i was trying to make a cli OS back then…

Languages, engines, frameworks — I try them all, not just to ship stuff but to understand how they work. Using tools is one thing; knowing why they work is a different level of fun.

Everything I build starts as a quirky thought. Some of them become useful tools, games, or small chaos experiments. All of them teach me something new.

HTML / CSS / JS
Building stuff that actually shows up on screens. Sometimes pretty, sometimes chaotic.
Python
Fast experiments, scripts, little automations — my Swiss Army knife for projects that need a quick kick.
C#
Games, apps, bigger projects. A place where I like digging deeper into how stuff works under the hood.
01
Custom tools & utilities
I spot annoyances and build tiny programs to fix them. Each one is a mini experiment in simplicity.
02
Game dev concepts
Games teach you to think differently — physics, state, rendering. I explore the ideas, not just the engines.
03
System-level tweaks
I like poking under the OS hood. Batch scripts were the start; curiosity never stopped.
04
Rebuilding existing ideas
Best way to learn? Build it yourself. I take things apart and put them back together… my way.

I don't just use software.
I try to understand it.

Always learning. Always experimenting. Always breaking things (carefully).

Let's chat.

Want to build something weird? Have a crazy idea? Or just want to say hi? I'm here for all of it.
